Welcome!
Welcome to the official website for the Manly Gurringai Festival 2012. The
Guringai Festival was founded in 2001. It aims to raise awareness for Aboriginal
and Torres Strait Islander people living in the Northern Sydney Region. The
festival usually takes place on 'Sorry Day' on the 26th of May and
continues until the end of NAIDOC week, the second week in July each year.
The Manly Gurringai Festival is free for all and will take place at the Manly Art Gallery and Museum on West Esplanade Reserve on the 26th of May until the 8th of July. It's a perfect way to have fun with friends and family while also learning about our country's heritage and indigenous people.
